Good afternoon families of Mary Poppins Jr:
As you are experiencing, these are new and changing times that we are in. First and foremost we pray for your continued health and safety as you navigate the new temporary norms of life. We are SO blessed to have the opportunity to embark on this creative journey with your students, and we thank you for all of your support, and thank them for all of their hard work! There will definitely be NO REHEARSALS this week/weekend as we as a faculty prepare for remote learning. We will have more information forthcoming as we meet with school leadership to discuss the implications that this has on our production. Be on the lookout for choreography videos, director's notes, and extra music tracks to come out via email over the next few weeks. Presently we have no plans to move our performance weekend from May 8-10, but that does obviously depend on the length of time out-of-school. We don't have this answer today, but we will continue to be in discussions with the school administration and each other as the week progresses. Our best advice at this moment is to run lines with your students, have them sing to you, dance the parts they can remember, and mostly to enjoy this new-found time at home as a family :) As always, be checking our website https://tccadramaclub.weebly.com/ for more information and resources And you can also email Mrs. Hall ([email protected]) or myself ([email protected]) with any questions. We are keeping you and your family in our prayers continually. Thanks and God Bless, Ms. Brianne Tarleton & Mrs. Sharon Hall Mary Poppins Jr. Directors https://tccadramaclub.weebly.com PS: If you have videos or pics of your performers rehearsing at home over the next few weeks, please feel free to share those with us! We love to see your students sharing their talents! God Bless! 🥁

Happy Tuesday parents of the Cast & Crew of The Music Man Jr.! April vacation and Tech Week are in our sights! Your students have been working very hard, and you should be immensely proud of them! A few things to note:
God Bless, Ms. Brianne Tarleton & Mrs. Sharon Hall The Music Man Jr. Directors https://tccadramaclub.weebly.co Good afternoon parents of the Cast & Crew of The Music Man Jr.!
The show is really coming together, and we are excited to see the end product in a little less than a month! Your students have been working very hard, and you should be immensely proud of them! A few things to note:
We are very excited for The Music Man Jr. to take to the TCCA stage on May 3rd! God Bless, Ms. Brianne Tarleton & Mrs. Sharon Hall The Music Man Jr. Directors https://tccadramaclub.weebly.com The Music Man Jr!I have wanted to direct this show since I had the honor of being a Pick-a-Little Lady in Somersworth High School's production of The Music Man back in my junior year of high school! Meredith Willson's The Music Man is a musical theatre CLASSIC and I'm very much going to enjoy spreading my love for this show and the music to my cast and crew!
I'm very excited and thrilled to announce that Mrs. Sharon Hall is coming back for a second year to be our Assistant Director and help out with choreography and everything else! I'm also especially excited to share that the amazingly talented Mr. Jay MacDougall will be making his return to the TCCA stage as our Stage Manager and Associate Producer! We are also very blessed to have a partnership with www.studio109dance.com for choreography again this year! If you can't yet tell, I am VERY pumped for this year's production of The Music Man Jr. at Tri-City Christian Academy! Come check it out May 3-5, 2019 at 12 Rocky Hill Rd. Somersworth, NH! Good afternoon,
I hope that you are all safe and warm, and enjoying this snowy day! A few things to be aware of:
I am one blessed director! Blessings, Ms. Tarleton PS: If school is cancelled, rehearsals will be cancelled unless otherwise noted. I will utilize email and the website to make that announcement. Thanks! NOTE: We are a NUT-FREE production! Some of our cast members are highly allergic to nuts of all kinds, so we kindly ask that you do not send your child to any rehearsals or performances with nut products! Thanks for your help and consideration with this! Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Respectfully, Ms. Tarleton Hello friends of TCCA Drama Club!!!
If you were planning to come by and help with workday items this upcoming vacation week, please check the schedule for updated times and locations! We will be having more workdays to come, but due to availability of the campuses, some projects had to be put on hold for the time being. Calling all talented, hardworking, and handy individuals to help build sets and scenery! This is a crucial part of making the art come to life, and we need your help!!! Please let me know if you're interested in this area :) Thanks, Ms. Tarleton Greetings parents, students, and friends of TCCA!
These past couple of weeks of auditions were both rewarding and very tough because we have SO much talent in our school! I just want to say before you read the cast list that I am immensely proud of every single one of you students! YOU are the reason that I am here and that I keep on doing what I do. I am blessed to have the honor and privilege of working with you! It has been a long couple of weeks of thinking, praying, reflecting, and many sleepless nights, but I hope and pray that I made the right casting decisions for this production. Like I said before, it is SO hard when you have a bunch of talent to choose just one actor per role, but I'm so thankful for the amazing talent that we have in all of the grades at TCCA. This brings me great joy because I know without a shadow of a doubt that the future of our performing arts programs looks strong. As the actor John Lithgow says, "The most exciting acting tends to happen in roles you never thought you could play." I am beyond excited to see the story that we tell during this show! YOU have the most exciting job on the planet--to create art and tell a story! Thank you for allowing us to share this experience with you! Your grateful director, Ms. Tarleton |
